Demonstrations
Search Computing (SeCo) is about merging two of the most successful techniques in the history of information processing: the simplicity of search, for opening querying also to non technical users, and the power of join, for correlating data by means of their values. SeCo aims at filling the gap between generalized search systems, which are unable to find information spanning multiple topics, and domain-specific search systems, which cannot go beyond their domain limits. SeCo systems support their users in asking multi-domain queries, i.e., requests that span multiple fields of interest. The SeCo system decomposes the query into sub-queries, maps each sub-query to a domain-expert search service, and generates a query plan that can be executed for building the result set.
We collect here a set of demonstration video and live demo that show two main aspects of Search Computing: the novel user interaction paradigm introduced by SeCo and the execution engine environment.
